Hand Therapy

We provide specialized rehabilitation of the upper limb including the hand, wrist and elbow following injury, disease or surgery. Our hand therapists work closely with you and your doctor to design a program to help you live life as fully as possible.

  • Burns and frostbite 
  • Complex regional pain syndrome/RSD 
  • Dupuytren's contracture 
  • Traumatic injury of tendons, ligaments, nerves, joints and bones 
  • Cumulative trauma disorders such as tendonitis, tenosynovitis, nerve compressions and pain syndromes  
  • Peripheral nerve injuries 
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome 
  • Trigger finger

Our Certified Hand Therapists (CHT) are therapists who have a minimum of five years clinical experience, including 4,000 hours or more in direct practice of hand therapy. In addition, the CHT has successfully passed a comprehensive test of advanced clinical skills and theory in upper-quarter rehabilitation. CHTs are required to demonstrate continued professional development and competency by recertifying every five years.
