The Institute for Athletic Medicine -Blaine is located in the Schwan Center on the National Sports Center campus. The clinic provides physical therapy, sports rehabilitation and athletic training services.
Brad Olson, physical therapist and certified athletic trainer, is the clinic supervisor. Brad has more than 18 years of sports physical therapy and athletic training experience, and has served as an athletic trainer to Blaine Senior High School, the Minnesota Thunder professional soccer team, and the Minnesota Twins baseball team. Brad also is a Mckenzie-certified spine specialist.
Aaron Groth, certified athletic trainer and certified strength and conditioning specialist, is also on staff at the clinic. He most recently provided athletic training services at Augsburg College. Aaron also has previously served as an athletic trainer in both high school athletics and physical therapy clinical settings and as a personal trainer in a fitness center. He completed his athletic training internship with the New Orleans Saints.
Steve Riley, physical therapist, specializes in physical therapy treatment for musculoskeletal conditions. He received his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Minnesota. He has special interest is treating individuals with baseball related injuries.
